Here at ST Logistics, we support the In-Camp-Training (ICT) commitments our NSmen have, and ensure that their physical and mental wellbeing is taken care of.
“Our NSmen do not need much, what they need is the company’s support.” This was shared by Mr Mohamed Haniffa, our Engagement Manager at the Supportive Employers Networking hosted by National Service Directorate on 20 Feb 2019. The event brought together over 70 like-minded employers to share best practices on how their companies support their staff.
Mr Haniffa further elaborated at the session that caring for our NSmen not only benefits the staff but the company as well, as skills learnt in NS are transferable at work.
For example, ST Logistics’ HR Specialist CPL (NS) Wong Guo Wei is able to work well in a team with colleagues from different cultures & backgrounds. This openness and interpersonal skill was gained during his stint in the Singapore Navy.
ST Logistics is also proud to be given the accreditation of NS Mark (Gold) 2017. This is awarded to companies that have a high level of support & implementation of policies and human resource practices that support National Service and Total Defence (MINDEF).
