ST Logistics leverages strongly on innovation and technology in its processes to improve our cost competitiveness and add to the value proposition to our customers.
We work closely with customers to understand their needs. Then, our in-house IT and innovation team will develop solutions that can meet those needs.
In recent years, we developed and are currently operating SiTadeL – ST Logistics’ own control tower system, which integrates data across and beyond our business units to greatly improve our real-time decision making. Such improvements benefit our procurement and resource allocation decisions.
We are continuously exploring ways in which our operations can be better automated and tracked. In the long term, we expect that our warehousing operations will have greater use of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and drones. Paper processes will also become digitised, which can enable robotic process automation (RPA) and data analytics.
