The facility was designed by STARS’ in-house engineering team which also oversaw the entire project from conceptualisation to HAZOPS analysis, and from construction to commissioning. The new facility featured prominently on environmental, safety and security considerations and it incorporates the following:

Seletar Aerospace Park, Singapore

In February 2009, STARS was awarded a contract by the Civil Aviation Authorities of Singapore (CAAS) to develop the new aviation fuel facility.

The new state-of-the-art depot was built from a greenfield site within a span of just about six months and encompasses many features such as environmental, safety and security considerations. The planning considerations also ensured that the relocation of the old fuel did not disrupt operations of the airport.

The new depot was designed by STARS’ in-house engineering team which also oversaw the entire project from conceptualisation to HAZOPS analysis, and from construction to commissioning.

The new fuel depot in Seletar Aerospace Park (SAP) was officially opened on 29 January 2010.
